Prepaid Health Clinics
Prepaid Health Clinics (PHC) provide plans that are highly acceptable to the public and have no health insurance category, and are not our regular HMOs or PPOs, although the same as explained above these PHCs are strictly regulated by the state and are governed by the same laws of HMOs. In fact the State itself in the current legislation recognizes the similarity of both HMO and PHC. In fact the big HMO, PPO and health insurance have had no choice but to reconsider their marketing strategies and make plans at prices like these PHC. The PHC workers have caused them serious problems and the PHC are much cheaper than an HMO or traditional PPO and accept pre-existing health conditions, among others benefits. Neither do I mean it to be the best option. It depends up to where you want to spend or up to where your pocket allows.

Employment Practice Liability: What is it? Why would you need it?
Employment Practices Liability Insurance is a relatively new form of liability insurance. It provides protection for an employer against claims made by employees, former employees, or potential employees. It covers discrimination (age, sex, race, disability, etc.), wrongful termination of employment, sexual harassment, and other employment-related allegations. It covers your firm, including its Directors and Officers.
Employment Practices Liability Insurance is needed as soon as you start to hire employees.
Did you know that you can be an employer without owning a business?
Well,if you hire a baby sitter,a house keeper, or just a person to do odd jobs in your home, you become an employer. You need Employment Pratices Liability.
Cases against employers are on the rise. It is estimated that three out of five firms will be sued by an employee. Companies are finding that they are vulnerable from the pre-hiring process through the exit interview, even if the employee was never hired, or only at the company a matter of days.

“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” ~Charles Swindoll
For a moment, think about every single situation you encountered yesterday; from responding to your co-workers abrasive question in the break room, to hearing hold please for the fifth time over the phone; could any of your reactions been different? In life, we do not have much control over what comes toward us, however, we have COMPLETE control of our choices. Make a conscious decision today to really think before you act; and remember, you can choose to react in either a positive or negative way. Let’s choose the POSITIVE.
Make it a great day!

What is Insurance?
A safe can be defined as a type of contract (or policy), by which the holder thereof (the person who subscribes to) a certain amount of money paid periodically (called a premium) in exchange for some type of compensation (compensation) in which case any of the circumstances happen (risks) agreed between the holder of the insurance and the insurance company.
In this way, the person who signs a contract of insurance injury prevents a hypothetical highly burdensome to him, offering in return a financial assessment on a regular bearable.
The insurance companies offer a variety of different contracts, each case depending on the type of risk to cover. Although in general, the various insurance contracts can be divided into:
- Insurance Personal : are those which cover different aspects (life, disability, retirement …) that directly affect the insured.
- Insurance heritage : these cover the various risks associated with material goods of the insured (home floods, theft, fire …).
More common in the recruitment of insurance :
- Policyholder Insurance : A person who signs and pays the insurance premiums.
- Insured : the substance of the contract, being able to be your own person or their property the property insured.
- Insurer: Is the company that takes the risks, undertaking to indemnify the policyholder or beneficiary.
- Beneficiary : the person named in the contract as the recipient of the compensation that the insurer agrees to pay against the holder.
- Policy : This contract entered into between the policyholder and the company, and shall detail each and every one of the conditions governing it.
- Premium insurance : is the amount payable by the holder to the insurer to which it undertakes to pay compensation in the hypothetical event of any of the risks detailed in the contract.
- Bonus-malus : are the penalties imposed on companies that are insured have higher costs, or otherwise, discounts apply them when they cause little or no expense.
- Receipt of insurance : the document can be verified to have been paid the policy premium. It is mandatory to be in possession of the receipt of insurance compulsory vehicle when driving.
What Should I Buy? “Health insurance” or a “Health Plan”
There is much confusion among the common people on how to choose the Health options that are available in the market, they are in different names like ““Health Plan HMO, PPO, PHC, Medical Discount, discount cards etc. Unfortunately, some of my colleagues have contributed in creating a comprehensive description, and also some firms have come out with them, but they are mainly for advertising benefits. In most cases the clauses and rules mentioned in them makes the client-patient to be confused and they do not express an absolute truth about what they will give us or at what will be the long term results

It is the BIG day, all of your hard work, long nights and sacrifice has paid off, and you are about to embark upon a new chapter in life–The Grand Opening of your business. You have selected stationary, the paint colors and have even installed a security system, but did you remember one of the most important items on your checklist-Insurance?
Keep this is mind while getting business insurance:
DO read any proposed policy carefully.
DO keep a list of all of your business property both at work and somewhere off the premises; you will need it for comparison purposes if you suffer a loss.
DO inform your agent of changes to your business, so that your policy always provides adequate coverage.
DON’T hide unusual risks from your agent. The insurer could later claim that you made misrepresentations and you probably won’t get the kind of coverage that you need.
DON’T underinsure to get a reduced premium. If you do, you could end up covering around 80 percent of your property replacement value because of a co-insurance clause in your policy.
DON’T exaggerate the extent of your damages. You could be accused of engaging in insurance fraud.
Are you a Miranda Priestly?
If you were in love with film The Devil Wears Prada as much as I was, you should definitely remember the ever icy, fashionable, take -no- prisoners, Runway editor -in- chief Miranda Priestly. She was all about the business and expected her team to go above and way beyond the call of duty to satisfy her requests- which were usually given over the what? The CELL PHONE. Do you call your employees on their cell phones to make requests? Do you expect your employees to answer the phone while driving? Are you an after work hours caller? If you answered yes, you are indeed a Miranda’s Priestly.
Thanks to technology we can be readily available for work 24 hours a day. But there is a problem, when your employees are on the phone while walking or driving on company time, you are open to potential claims. Be sure to protect yourself:
Set employee policies regarding employees not using the cell phone for business while driving. Before implementing any such policies, employers should seek out legal counsel to be sure that the policies don’t cross any legal employment boundaries.
Provide cellular phones and pagers only for essential personnel.
Before giving an employee an assignment that requires driving, make sure they have a valid driver’s license.
Check with your insurance company to see what your company is covered for and when in situations involving the actions of your employees.
